IWRB
collates information on threatened species, and has recently begun the
preparation of a number of species, and group action plans. These plans
enable conservation action priorities to be identified. In addition,
IWRB has developed action recommendations to deal with many other
waterbird and wetland management issues, such as the problem of lead
poisoning in waterbirds.
IWRB meets goal of promoting the conservation of wetlands
and wetland biodiversity through:
